ROYAL CANIN RENAL CAT THERAPY FOOD
KINETIC SUPPORT FOR CATS
(Chronic Kidney Disease support/CKD)
RECOMMENDATIONS
Feed your cat Royal Canin Renal as soon as the creatinine* level exceeds the reference level (late CKD stage 2), before the condition worsens and becomes chronic. In case the cat stops eating, it can be switched to Renal without any transition step (7-day food change rule). Monitor the cat’s kidney health based on the Renal panel: in case of high blood calcium or other mineral index disorders (eg: low blood potassium level). In most cases, cats can continue to use Royal Canin Renal for life.
*Creatinine is only excreted by the kidneys, so the creatinine level in the blood will accurately reflect kidney function and diagnose kidney failure.
