RECOMMENDATIONS
If you suspect your dog has a food allergy or intolerance, you can switch to a Royal Canin Hypoallergenic diet without any transition (7-day food change rule). Dogs with chronic dermatitis that require nutritional control can continue to use Hypoallergenic for life. The food rations in the table below should be divided into 2 main meals a day.
Use in conjunction with Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Wet Food for best results.
Indications
- Adverse Food Reactions (AFR) with dermatologic and/or gastrointestinal symptoms:
– Diagnosis: Food elimination trial.
– Nutritional management.
Canine Atopic Dermatitis (CAD) + chronic pruritus.
Chronic diarrhea.
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI).
Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).
Contraindications
Pancreatitis, history of pancreatitis;
